On May 4, 2008, after a full day of Cuban music, Cuban Food and dancing, most had a great time at the Mi Son Cubano Festival.  There were a few that came out of the event without a car to drive home, but that was due to parking illegally.  Those cars were towed away with owners not too happy.

Grand Opening Information:  According to CEO of Costco, grand opening and ribbon cutting scheduled for May 16, 2008.   Updated: Their will also be a soft opening scheduled for the night before the grand opening.  The soft opening will be held on May 15, 2008.   Nothing will be for sale, samples will be given out and the CEO, Jim Sinegal is expected to make an appearance.  Exact times will be posted soon, check back later.

The Costco site will be located on Lone Hill Ave and Gladstone Ave.  It will include a 145,000 sq foot Costco store and gas station.  There will also be 70,000 feet of additional retail and restaurant space.

BREAKING NEWS: 4/15/08 Appx 9pm:  Airplane Crashes in Frank G. Bonelli Park - Puddingstone Lake, San Dimas, CA near Brackett Airfield / Brackett Airport, La Verne, CA.  Bonelli Park is home of Raging Waters San Dimas.

Two patients transported via LA County Fire Helicopter to USC Medical Center. Twin engine plane crash, Piper Aztech. One critically injured. Only two people were on the plane.
